Unfortunately, most of Ahsoka’s development takes place on the small screen, and fans looking for more about her story have fairly limited options.
It is her positive attitude, her integrity, and, perhaps above all, her constant fight for what is good and right, that drew fans to her character and keeps her in their hearts to this day. We’ve seen her stand for what she believes in, even when it has major consequences, and face deep loss while never losing herself in the process.
Throughout her televised escapades, we’ve gotten to watch Ahsoka grow from a young, wide-eyed Padawan into an integral part of the Rebellion against the Empire and a mentor in her own right. Her return in the Rebels TV series at the end of Season 1 excited fans all over again and further solidified her important presence in the fight against the Empire. Throughout the Clone Wars’ six-year run, Ahsoka grew from the lovable Padawan into a complex, storied character and a fan favorite.
Her feisty attitude was evident from the beginning as she bantered with her master, Anakin, who was not one to trifle with himself, and then we watched in amazement as the two became a tremendous team right before our eyes. Hen Ahsoka first appeared in the Star Wars universe in 2008’s Clone Wars film, fans knew she would special.
